If you like to indulge in a beer every now and then, leave your money at home if you intend to do your drinking in a casino. I am not joking. clean out your billfold, your wallet, and keep all money, bank cards and cheques at home. Take whatever cash you intend to use on beverages, tipping and whatever pocket change you plan on loosing and keep the remainder behind.

Pessimistic? Not really. Realistic really. You might well experience a success after a drunken night out with your buddies and be lucky enough to catch a marathon roll at a smokin craps table. Hang on to that tale because it’s as short-lived as it gets if you continually drink and gamble. The two just don’t mix.

Leaving your cash at home is a bit dramatic, but preventative actions for drastic behavior is proportionate and required. If you wager to succeed, then do not drink and wager. If you are able to afford to throw away your cash without a second thought, then consume all the no charge alcohol your gut can handle, but do not take bank cards and chequebooks to toss into the mix of chasing losses once your drunk as a skunk brain loses all the cash!
